PROGRAMMA DELLA VISITA IN PALESTINA - 23 - 27 Aprile 2009

Dal 23 al 27 aprile, Luisa Morgantini - Vice Presidente del Parlamento Europeo - sarà nei Territori Occupati Palestinesi per partecipare a diversi eventi e incontri.

Lo scopo principale della visita è di partecipare alla Quarta Conferenza annuale Internazionale di Bil'in sulla Resistenza popolare non-violenta, nel villaggio di Bil'in, a Nord di Ramallah.

La visita prevede il seguente programma:

Giovedì 23 - Bi'lin (Ramallah)- Quarta Conferenza Annuale Internazionale sulla Resistenza Popolare Non-violenta

H 8.30 - 10.30 Coordinamento del workshop "Costruire un movimento internazionale in solidarietà con la Palestina"

H 10.30 - Visite sul campo

Pomeriggio: Ramallah- incontro con Salam Fayyad, Primo Ministro dell'ANP e con rappresentanti del PLC 

Venerdì 24 - Bi'lin e Ramallah - Quarta Conferenza Annuale Internazionale sulla Resistenza Popolare Non-violenta

H 9.30 - 11.00 Bi'lin (Ramallah) Presentazione dei documenti finali dei workshop

H12.30 Manifestazione non-violenta contro il muro

Sera (Beit Jala) - Incontro del Comitato Direttivo dell'IWC (International Women Commission*) - Commissione Internazionale di Donne

Sabato 25 - Beit Jala (Gerusalemme Sud)

H11.00-11.45 Visita di solidarietà con I comitati di residenti di Al-Bustan -Silwan and Sheikh Jarrah**

H12.00- Al-Quds University (campus di Abu Deis): Cerimonia del Parlamento delle Donne di Gerusalemme *** promossa dal Community Development Center

(*International Women's Commission è un gruppo creato nel 2005 da 35 donne Palestinesi, Israeliane e Internazionali, leader e attiviste per una Pace giusta e duratura. E' stato creato per garantire l'implementazione della Risoluzione 1325 del Consiglio di Sicurezza delle Nazioni Unite -Ottobre, 2000).

(**Al Bustan (Silwan) e Sheikh Jarrah sono zone di Gerusalemme EST: in questi quartieri I residenti Palestinesi sono stati e sono tuttora vittime di sfratti, ordinanze di demolizione delle case e revoca dei diritti di residenza da parte delle Autorità Israeliane).

PROGRAMME OF THE VISIT TO PALESTINE - 23^rd - 27^th April 2009

From the 23^rd till April the 27^th, Luisa Morgantini - Vice President of the European Parliament -  will be in the Occupied Palestinian Territories to join diverse events and meetings.

The priority objective of the visit is to take part in the Fourth Annual Bil'in International Conference on Popular Nonviolent Resistance, in the Bi'lin Village, North of Ramallah.

The visit includes the following schedule:

Thursday 23^rd - Bi'lin (Ramallah)-Forth Annual International Conference on Popular Nonviolent Resistance

H 8.30 - 10.30 Coordination of the workshop "Building an international movement in solidarity with Palestine"

H 10.30 - Field visits

Afternoon: Ramallah- meeting with Salam Fayyad, Prime Minister of the PNA and with PLC representatives

Friday 24^th - Bi'lin and Ramallah - Forth Annual International Conference on Popular Nonviolent Resistance

H 9.30 - 11.00 Bi'lin (Ramallah) Presentation of the final agreements of the workshops

H12.30 nonviolent demonstration against the wall

Evening (Beit Jala) - IWC (International Women Commission*) Steering Committee Meeting

Saturday 25^th - Beit Jala (South Jerusalem)

H11.00-11.45 Solidarity meeting with the residents' committees of Al-Bustan -Silwan and Sheikh Jarrah**

H12.00- Al-Quds University (campus of Abu Deis): Ceremony of the Jerusalem Women's Parliament*** promoted by the Community Development Center

(*International Women's Commission is a group established in 2005 by 35 Palestinian, Israeli and International Women leaders and activists for a Just and Sustainable Peace. It was established to ensure the implementation of the groundbreaking UN Security Council Resolution 1325 -October, 2000).

(**Al Bustan (Silwan) and Sheikh Jarrah are East Jerusalem areas: in these neighboorhoods Palestinian residents are facing or have already been victims of evictions, house demolitions orders or revocation of residency rights by the Israeli authorities).

(***The main goal of the Jerusalem Women's Parliament is to assist in tha advancement of women culturally, socially, medically, economically and psychologically)
