DELEGATION OF 50 PEOPLE FROM ITALIAN CIVIL SOCIETY  IN PALESTINE AND ISRAEL

27^th December - 2^nd January

From 27^th December till the 2^nd January, Luisa Morgantini, Vice President of the European Parliament,  will accompany a delegation of 50 people belonging to the Italian civil society in a trip of acknowledge and solidarity in the Palestinian Occupied Territory and in Israel, organized with the Italian peace association "Associazione per la Pace".

The delegation is composed by men and women from the Italian civil society, lawyers, doctors, students and some journalists.  

The objective of the delegation is to know the reality on the ground and to achieve direct information about the ongoing situation especially through the visit of towns in the Palestinian Occupied Territories and in Israel, such as Jerusalem, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jenin, Hebron, Tel Aviv and Jaffa, as well as in the refugees Camps of the West Bank.

The programme of the delegation foresees meetings with peace and human rights organizations from Israeli and Palestinian civil societies, with Representatives of the Palestinian Authority, with Members of the Knesset and with EU, OCHA and UNRWA's Representatives.
